At MSJ, we uphold scientific quality and applied relevance. Our peer review process ensures that each submitted article, case study, or protocol meets a standard of:

  • Real-world applicability
  • Scientific integrity
  • Clear methodology
  • Field-tested insight

We maintain a practitioner-scientist model: review is done by fellow trainers, physios, movement educators, and biomechanical specialists from the MMSx network.


✅ Review Timeline Overview

  1. Submission Received (via email or upload form)
  2. Initial Editorial Screening – 3–7 business days
    • We check for completeness, originality, and scope match
  3. Peer Assignment – 1–2 expert reviewers allocated
  4. Review & Response – 10–14 days
    • Feedback includes: strengths, areas to clarify, formatting requests (if needed)
  5. Revisions (Optional) – You make changes and resubmit
  6. Acceptance & Publication – Confirmed for quarterly issue + featured across BodyGNTX & MMSx platforms

🔎 Reviewer Criteria

All reviewers must:

  • Be certified or degreed in strength & conditioning, movement therapy, physiotherapy, or exercise science
  • Have experience applying biomechanics in real-world settings
  • Be part of or nominated by the MMSx Peer Circle

🖋️ What Reviewers Evaluate

Each submission is assessed on:

  • Practical Relevance: Does it offer movement value for trainers or clinicians?
  • Biomechanical Accuracy: Are movement concepts explained precisely?
  • Innovation or Insight: Does it introduce a new method, pattern, or cue?
  • Clarity: Is the work easy to follow and apply?
  • Visuals or Graphs (Optional): Are they supportive and professional?

Expect reviewer comments like:

  • “Expand on your glute firing technique and include a test-retest protocol.”
  • “Please reference fascia line activation during the warm-up phase.”
  • “Strong case study. Consider breaking it into Part 1 and Part 2.”
